OK, this is weird. I moved a thread started by **Mofo Rising** on vegetarians to Great Debates. But it’s not there. It has disappeared into dust. As **Cecil** is my witness, I did everything right. I can even post to the thread, which is [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=80208). But it doesn’t appear in the Great Debates listing, or anywhere else. Don’t bother to post to it, as soon as we figure out what the heck is going on, we’re going to kill it. Sorry about that. Please feel free to restart the thread in Great Debates. ---

OK, it gets weirder. When I’m signed into the boards, I can’t see it. But when I’m not signed in, I can see it. Who can see this damned thread? ---

Oh sure. You were “innocently” “moving” it as part of an “administrative” “duty.” And then “for reasons you can’t explain” it “just disappeared.” I smell a rat. Er, I mean, a rat-shaped piece of tofu. I don’t mean to cast aspersions on, or ever suggest we’d ever utilize, an innocent animal to illustrate a point. At any rate, if this isn’t an excuse for an 8-page ragefest on moderator abuse, overreach of power, and capricious suppression of threads, I dunno what is! To the pit everyone! I have no doubt this is a sign of the One World Government taking over. Better run for your lives. Save whatever threads you can and take to the hills. Oh wait, I can see the thread with no problem. Maybe the UN is not taking over after all… or maybe they’re only interested in NYC. I think I won’t take to the hills quite yet… yeah, I’ll just get me some more coffee for now and wait to see what happens next. ---
