There are a limited number of slots for moderators, basically one per forum. TUBADIVA is in charge of us, so if you’re interested, send her a “resume” or similar explanation of your worth. However, there are no openings at present. ---

Is “Moderator” a volunteer position, or what does it pay? and how much time do you spend doing it? ---

Well, about pay… I got an official mug from the CHICAGO READER, and a certificate of appreciation signed by Cecil and Ed, and some very soggy brats (the wurst, not the children) at a BBQ during a rainstorm. But that’s because the MAILBAG forum is easier to moderate than this one. You callin’ me a wuss, David? ---

I ain’t a handwriting expert, B-Line, but NO, they are definitely not the same handwriting. Ed’s is a legible handwriting, nice slant, probably Catholic school training. Cecil’s is a scrawl, almost verticle, almost illegibobble. ---
