The show is using clowns in the same way it’s using sitcoms: Doing the exact same played out gags that they do, but from a sort of meta perspective, so that we can laugh at it again. ---

gloria was hot, so the episode can only slip to a 5 at worst. luke and manny delivered as always, which is always good for a +1.5 boost. the rest was rather meh. i don’t like how cam’s only accomplishments in life are clown-centric. ---

Ok, it is hokey but when the dog and Manny were on the stairs above the table I laughed when the dog reacted with shock to Manny saying Griffin was coming over. ---
