Yes, you’re right. There would be.

In any event, most Jews are of the opinion that the messiah must come BEFORE the rebuilding of the Temple, so if this destruction happens without the messiah coming, then there probably won’t be a new Jewish Temple right away.

I know that, while they’re not Saducees, there’s a group called the Karaitim, who still exist, who believe a lot of the things the Saducees used to believe, reject mainstream Judaism, which they call “rabbanism”, and reject the Talmud.
