These people aren’t helping you publicize the anti-war message. They are discrediting it.

Bingo. They think they’re sending a “message” - but the message is that “very silly people oppose the war.” In particular I object to the idea that “women are willing to be vulnerable for peace” - I wonder how many kuwaiti, croat and serbian women endorse that concept? I thought feeling secure was a pretty basic requirement for being at peace…

Actually, I also wonder how many people are actually willing to strip naked in Washington DC in January. Especially men. Honest! It doesn’t normally shrivel like this!:eek:

Hickory, your posts are dead-on. Yes, I still have misgivings about what might happen. My baby brother is a reservist and is just waiting to be activated. But even I have not been convinced by the peaceniks.

And women stripping naked to stop the war on a man who enlists professional rapists in his jails…it’s jaw-dropping.
