# Mods/Admins - please note your warnings

This is specifically directed at **Ed Zotti** and **Lynn Bodoni** , and generally directed at any other mod/admin who doesn’t already do this.

During my time as a mod, there was a groundswell of member support for the following concepts: 1) mods/admins should always make it perfectly clear when they were speaking _ex cathedra_, and 2) mods/admins should always make it perfectly clear when the post is a simple note/admonishment (knock it off) or a serious warning (permanent record). To the best of my recollection, all mods/admins at the time agreed that this was a perfectly reasonable request, and all of us followed through on supporting that request.

I’d like to ask that this continue. It’s easily done - simply add the appropriate title to your post, or make it clear in the words in your post.
