# Mods and Ignore

In one thread in The Pit, a newly-registered user stated that they’d registered just to put a moderator on “ignore.”

Now, that doesn’t strike me as the most intelligent thing to do; however, it does raise an interesting question, to wit: Can the board software be set so the Mods/Admins can’t be put on ignore?

Another question: Why on Earth would anyone think it’s a good idea to NOT see the posts from the Mods/Admins?

What thread in The BBQ Pit?

As our FAQ thread states, you cannot put a moderator or administrator on ignore.

the thread Manny started - the post is either near the bottom of the 2nd page or on the third ( I can’t remember which), new poster. to answer the other question of the OP, no, it can’t be done, I’d suspect that the ‘lurker’ in question knew that, and the intent of the post was to needle. Shrug. some folks need new hobbies.
