I’m one of the ones who finds it a bit annoying as it disrupts the flow of the thread I’m reading (I have to stop and think ‘What the hell? Oh, that’s SB… what the hell does he mean by that again?’). LOL is well known enough that it doesn’t have that effect. I’m sort of enjoying keeping score on this kerfuffle. As best I can tell, this is now the 13th longest thread in ATMB history, all 11,469 of 'em. Moving up to number 11 seems almost a foregone conclusion. Which would make this a one-in-a-thousand thread. Getting from there to #7 is a bit of a jump, but not inconceivable. I don’t see this getting past #4 no matter what. We shall see … LOL with a Dr. Evil cackle. ---

It’s easy enough to handle on my own and not be telling someone else how to post to my liking, or what to do in general. After all, who am I to do that? Who is anyone? Well, thank you. You have manage to express my feelings very closely. Except you let out that this as a small coterie arguing stridently to get those in a position of power to enforce their narrow opinions and beliefs on the rest of us, and we fail to stand our ground in peril of our freedoms. The purpose of a thesaurus is to list similar or related words, but they are not always synonyms.
