I denied that they wanted to arrest them all for Mollie Tibbett’s murder, IIRC, or in your phrasing “for a crime”. But that’s not what Larry Borgia said. He wasn’t talking about “a crime” (singular) he said “there will be some rapists and murderers”. That’s multiple crimes. ---

That’s a problem for any society - no one has a good way of predicting that small percentage of bad apples in the barrel, or picking them out of a crowd easily after the fact. I wish we did, it would be a better world for everyone. ---
