A **Troll** is a regurlar poster or a sock puppet who disagrees with you. You must shout him down if you are a **Troll Buster, another form of troll**. ---

Some things I thought were going to be generic but turned out to be only here were the board bbreviations: ATMB ~ About This Message Board CCC ~ Comments on Cecil’s Columns (sounded like a govt. dept.) CMA ~ Comments on Mailbag Answers (sounded like hardware) GQ ~ General Questions (It made no sense as the magazine) GD ~ Great Debates (thought it was swearing) IMHO ~ In My Humble Opinion (sounded like a non-board term) MPSIMS ~ (still have no idea about this one) BBQ or Pit ~ The BBQ Pit ---

Oat Willie insisted that I would find the answer to “What is a Troll?” in this thread, but so far all I’ve learned (essentially) is that a troll is someone who disagrees with you. Clever, but isn’t that also the definition for several other words as well (ie asshole, prick, dumbass, unsophisticated moron)? By the way X-Files, MPSIMS = Mudane Pointless Stuff I Must Share … you knew that right? ---

Well, I’ve seen **middlebie** a few times now, so I guess this site coined a word. I always am careful to say I’m “middle aged”, even though retired, not because I think I’ll live twice my years, but my old mother still thinks she’s “middle aged” and I don’t have the heart to break her little fiction by admitting older than she does. ---
