Do you think [this](http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/slideshow/florence-henderson-crabs-john-lindsay-8652794)is for real, or is Florence Henderson just hard up for cash? ETA: As I really don’t know about such things, is this how pubic lice manifest themselves? ---

As I said when I saw this last night. Eww! EWW! and more EEW! I disagree that John Lindsay was “unattractive,” though. Huh. I always wondered, when I was a kid, why Mom thought the Brady Bunch would warp our minds. We had to watch Rin Tin Tin instead and she didn’t mind if we acted like we had rabies. ---

There was a fairly messed-up exchange on the BB’s first episode (by my straight-x standards). Carol calls Mike before the wedding, admitting she has a few “butterflies” in her stomach. Mike responds that he has “flying saucers” in his. The solution? Carol: “So take a tranquilizer.” Mike: “I did. It didn’t work.” Carol: “So take another one.” And they wonder why the 60s and 70s were so pharmacologically enriched. ---
