She hid how bad her condition was. We thought it was dehydration. Her Doc tells us the cancer is all through her body. One brother & my sister are here, the other on the way from Florida. Rotating shifts at her hospital bed. She turned blue last night. Not regained consciousness since. Wills, living & otherwise are in place. Cremation, with no funeral, when needed. Last night, I thought she was gonna be fine. Today, we learn the truth. She’s tried to shield us from worry & pain, as much as she can. What a good Mother she is. ---

My Mother died of a rare form of breast cancer on February 17, 2006. My heart goes out to you and to your family. I know EXACTLY what you are going through and you have my unwavering sympathy and moral support. I will keep you and yours in my thoughts. ---

I feel for ya, Bosda. If there’s any advice I can offer, it’s: Keep your relationships with the living. I’ve lost three near family members in the last year. Take time to heal and remember the good things she’s done. ---

I hope your sibling makes it home in time to spend a few moments with your mom. Watching some leave is very hard. I did it with my grandparents who were more of a mother and father than my parents ever were. I wish you strength in this time and you will be in my thoughts. What a mom trying to protect you from hurt till the very end. ---

I’m so sorry Bosda, Prayers coming your way from my family. We lost my Aunt to Breast Cancer in Dec. 06’ so I feel your pain. I miss her so much! It isn’t fair. Just know you have lots of support from all of us here at the Dope. **holding back the tears** ---
