I was 10 when I fell for [Mark Lester](http://www.oliver1968.co.uk/mark01C.jpg), the kid who played Oliver in the movie “Oliver”. I bet Orlando Bloom looked like him when he was a boy. A couple years later I moved on to Donny Osmond. ---

Mine was Fonzie, back when I was around 5. I still have the teeny-tiny t-shirt my mom got me; the Fonz is giving two thumbs up and above his head it says, “Aaaay!” My daughter had a crush on Zack and Cody. She said she wanted to marry one of them and she didn’t care which. I should probably have bought her a little t-shirt too, now that I think about it. ---

I went from Michael Jackson (from the Off the Wall era) to Pierce Brosnan (as Remington Steele) to George Michael (I was about 13 by then). I also vaguely recall, when I was about 10 maybe, deciding that I would marry Prince Edward (I think I really just wanted a fairytale wedding like Princess Diana) ---

I do remember that Donnie Wahlberg totally eclipsed any love I might have had or had since for any celebrity. I had shirts with him on 'em, magazine cut-outs, pillows, blankets, sneakers, and needless to say the barbie doll, to which I clung furiously. I seriously thought, at the ripe age of maybe six, that if he just met me, he’d see we were just perfect for each other and he’d wait for me to grow up and marry me as soon as I was old enough. …oh yeah, it’s still there. Looking at those old pics, god, I don’t even care how much of a douche he was, UNF. ---

I was really into the kid who played [Atreyu](http://www.hellometro.com/media/moviephotos/photos/1427/1427_ab.jpg) Thus began my longing for dark-eyed and dark-haired men. in The Neverending Story. Plus, when I saw that movie, he was an _older_ boy so he seemed super-hot! I think it went from him right to Joey McIntyre from the New Kids. _Everyone_ my age had a thing for a New Kid. ---

Phyllis Coates, the earlier and brunet Lois Lane from the 50s Superman series. Why Superman did not, five minutes after meeting her, fly to the nearest coal mine and return with diamonds for her I did not understand. She was both hotter and less annoying than her predecessor/successor, Noel Neill. (Predecessor/successor because Neill played Lois in serials before Coates and then took over the role when the TV producers decided Coates was so hot no one would believe Superman could resist her charms indefinitely.) Also the first Jane from Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movies. It was NOT hard to understand how she tamed the lord of the jungle. ---
