# Mommy, Where Do "Child Forums" Come From?

OK, Does Uncle Cecil have nieces and nephews now? When I do a search, how come it asks if it should also search “Child Forums”? What are these? SDope for kids? And, how does one access these forums? Lost in the cyberfog, - Jinx

AFAIK, a child forum is one that is a subform to a main forum. They don’t have them enabled here. For example, they could in theory have a “Computers” forum that is a subforum of GQ.
