Talking about the most modern version of BSG. Please fprgove my ignorance, I just started whatching the show about six weeks ago. (Now I’m hooked) Thanks in advance. ---

First, it’s “Cylons.” I believe that a Cyclon is a misspelled tornado. 😉 Second, I’m new to the BSG-verse myself (I’ve only seen the miniseries and first 4 eps), but the opening credits start with something like “they were created by man … they evolved.” [Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cylon_(Battlestar_Galactica)) is more specific: > [@](#): > > In the 2003 miniseries and 2004 full-length series which reimagined _Battlestar Galactica_ … [Cylons] were created by humans as robotic workers and soldiers; executive producer Ronald D. Thanks for the info **Misnomer** , I can’t believe I misspelled Cylons (along with forgive) I guess that’s why the mods frown upon posting while under the infuence of alcohol. Sorry about that. /goes back to drinking _hic-ups_ ---

Well, sweetie, when a lady cylon and a man cylon love each other very much they get married. And when they want a cute little baby cylon, only after they’re married, they share a special kind of love, a kind of touching only grown-ups do. When you’re older you’ll know more. StG ---

And just to clarify, the Cylons that were around before they buggered off for forty years were just the mechanical “chrome toaster” type models. The humanoid models were unknown to mankind until the day they showed up and killed everyone. ---
