A SDMB search shows that it has been cited here repeatedly over the years. I didn’t always agree with their views (especially 2007’s [“Have You Ever Beat Up A Boyfriend? Cause, Uh, We Have”](https://jezebel.com/have-you-ever-beat-up-a-boyfriend-cause-uh-we-have-294383) - the comment section was even worse and had to be deleted). But there was a lot of content and focus there that never showed up on many other newsfeeds. RIP Jezebel, hopefully you will come back. ---

There’s actually a certain amount of value in the modern style of naming political action groups, of which “Moms for Liberty” is one. Whatever your immediate thought on the plain language interpretation, it means the diametric opposite. So IOW, they actually favor really “Moms for evil slavery and hate”. It’s sorta fun that it’s so very, very transparent. The only thing better than a clever opponent is a clueless opponent who thinks they’re clever. ---

“Blue NJ” isn’t really a thing. Statewide, we’re blue, but there are really red areas in the north, northwest, southeast, etc. Moms for Liberty wouldn’t have a chance in my town – our high school encouraged kids to walk out after one of the shootings in the last few years, and had a transwoman as prom queen. ---
