Not bad. Haley is h-o-t. I think I liked her better this week then I will next week when the hot-tubbing and around-the-bed-rolling begin though. Monica got more screen time in this show’s premiere than Alex McCloud did over the duration of “Joe Millionaire.” 😃 This goes in the American Idol category. AKA "I’ll watch it while surfin’ the net if nothing better is on. 🙂 ---

A few years ago, Fox was doing a commercial for an upcoming Ripley’s and they had a guy who had cancer and he had a fake face. He could pull most of it off as it was made of rubber. That would be funny if he was one of them. And the bimbo picked him. ---

Watched it. Was slightly amused. The guy that impressed her most HAS to be some kind of plant. He is way too goofy to be real. All the rest are perfectly normal looking. ---

Saw one of the promos where she was just kind of grooving with some of the guys in the masks … that just floored me. I just imagined being one of the guys, thinking, “Yeah, baby, I look gooood, don’t I? Just gettin’ in the flow of the music, aww, yeah … hey, wait. I’M WEARING AN IDIOTIC MASK! It’s IMPOSSIBLE TO LOOK GOOD! KILL ME NOW, OR AT LEAST PERMANENTLY AFFIX THE MASK TO MY FACE SO NO ONE WILL EVER RECOGNIZE ME AGAIN! AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!” ---

Apparently, the masks are designed not just to cover the features, but to disguise them, so that all the contestants end up looking exactly alike. For instance, they created each one with the same amount of room for the jawline, and then padded each one accordingly to create a consistent shape. So the way they look with the mask is no indicator of what they look like without it. Now, about this guy who took off a mask for the promo. Have they shown the contestants at all without the masks (either in a promo or on the show)? ---

You can see their eyes, mouths and chin! I think I would have a pretty good idea of what they looked like without them. ---

I didn’t really think any of the guys were butt ugly. There was the lawyer who really just needed a good haircut and the bald guy, but that doesn’t make them ugly. I thought most of the other men looked almost alike. The ugliest guy was the one that got all pissed off at her, when she didn’t pick him to stay. What an ass ! I liked it, I’ll be watching again next week. ---

I only noticed the commercials cause of the Phantom-type mask they are using. If I were Cameron Macintosh, I’d sue. ---

I did watch (although I know it’ll be my last viewing), and I did notice that the “ugly” guy in the commercials was nowhere to be found. There was one guy with a sad Peter Tork hairdo and crossed eyes, but everyone else was either average or somewhat-better-than. The ugliest guys was the dork that threw a tantrum when he got dumped. Now _that_ was entertainment! ---

Hmmm, I thought it was worth a look, but as mentioned above, where is that ugly guy seen in the commercials? Also, they are now down to ten guys & we did get to see their faces. That woman doing the choosing is smiling all the time. She looks dumb as a post so far & we don’t know much about her, just like that Firestone guy. Anyway, I can’t see this show getting any more exciting. ---
