# Monkey with a Gun (The Movie)

…of course one can read in the comments that it’s likely fake, and the “monkey” would likely be terrified by the gun, and at about :30 the “monkey” fires while moving from right to left while the recoil would kick from left to right…

But it’s a monkey with a gun!

I’m not so sure. Horses can be habituated to the sound of gunfire. Why not chimps?

As a firearm owner and a Second Amendment advocate, I must express my outrage at people who would give a loaded weapon to a creature incapable of understanding basic firearm safety procedures.

As an owner of a Y chromosome, however, I must admit that it’s freakin’ hilarious.

I tend to agree with you, but my interpretation was that this was impromptu interaction. If the monkey were trained, I would be even more likely to think it was faked.
