Hi Ottawa (& area) Dopers. I was thinking of you folks recently and must have missed this thread. Thanks for the poke **Leafan** I am super busy this weekend (family wedding, out of town guests, cityfolk volunteering etc) but will try to poke my head in briefly (glad it is Sunday … that makes it somewhat possible.) Since I had to hunt upthread, you are meeting at the Clocktower in the market … right? (Bank location would have worked easier for me but probably not for our out of towners) If folks are looking for cheap things to do this weekend, there will be pop-up music (free admission, mostly local acts) up and down Bank St Friday night and Saturday afternoon/ night as part of the Marvest portion of Cityfolk. Here is the [schedule etc.](https://cityfolkfestival.com/marvest/) If I don’t make it out I hope you have a great dopefest! (and if I DO make it out I hope WE have a great dopefest) ---

Not sure right now, ONE doper is being pretty insistent (just teasing, Leaffan, you know I loves ya!). I will do my best! ---

Don’t think I’ll make it. Given the nice weekend forecast, some thing else has come up. ---

Just to be clear, here’s where we’re meeting: Clocktower Brew Pub 89 Clarence Street Ottawa, Ontario 613-241-8783 info.clarence@clocktower.ca https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=%213m2%212sen%214v0%216m8%211m7%211sKN8ty6HBMAyx7BRhmHa_Ug%212m2%211d45.4292283%212d-75.6926767%213f332.44%214f8.721%215f0.75 2:00 PM Sunday August 17. Unless anyone is agoraphobic I’d like to propose the patio, since it will be scrum-diddly-dumscious weather. I shan’t make a reservation, but I will be there ahead of time and will be outside wearing a red Canada T-Shirt. Looking forward to it. Doug ---
