I was watching one of the Flying Circus episodes earlier tonight, and came across a long sketch in Episode 7 that starts with the introduction of the first victim of an extraterrestrial menace: “Harold Potter, gardener, and tax official…” AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH! Terrible spoiler, really. To see that this character having survived all those dark plots by Voldemort, only to be turned into a Scotsman by alien blancmanges in a vicious tennis-related plot. Sigh. I’ll read the upcoming books anyway… ---

I thought this thread was going to be about John Cleese, Monty Python alum and Hogwarts ghost. But reminding me of the alien blancmanges is just as good. 😉 ---

You know, I had completely forgotten about Cleese’s cameo in the movie, and didn’t realize that connection could be made. Wonder if Rowling knows about this?
