Apparently they go nicely with certain meats like duck or turkey, with the combination of sweet and salt and vinegar adding a strong accent. I’ve done grapes with a balsamic marinade with duck, so it’s probably similar to that. **Quicksilver** : :smack: I thought you were proposing something bold there - pickled blueberries on shoofly pie.
