What are your favorite songs that put you in a good mood? Here are a few of mine: Perfect Day by Hoku (on the Legally Blonde Soundtrack) Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves (I hate this song when I am not in a good mood, but when the sun is shining and the world is right, it works.) Playmate of the Year by Zebrahead Flying High Again by Ozzy Ozbourne Beautiful Day by U2 Venus by Bananarama Higher by Van Halen Beatiful Girls by Van Halen Hold On by Triumph I this question has been addressed ad nauseum, I apologize, but I did not find it doing a search. If you don’t have any feel good songs to share, feel free to criticize my musical taste. 😃 ---

I have never heard of Ocean Color Scene or Friends of Distinction, and while I like Bryan Ferry, I don’t think that I have heard “I wear my heart on my sleeve.” I will have to check all of them out. Any suggestions on which cds are best to get to know Ocean and Friends? **Sunny Day** by Abandoned Pools. There’s a little sample in this song, all throughout it, that says “damn right I’ve got the blues.” **Save Yourself** by Stabbing Westward. A good song for when you’re pissed at someone. ---

**serenitynow** - I would highly recommend the CD _Moseley Shoals_ by Ocean Colour Scene. Their album _Marchin’ Already_ is good too, but I think Moseley is a better intro. They are a British group, but I have regularly found their CD’s in larger stores in Canada - YMMV. ---

Mike Oldfield’s _ **"In Dulci Jubilo"** _ is the happiest doggone tune ever recorded. Nobody who hears it can resist tapping their feet and grinning ear to ear. 😛 It isn’t Rock— it sounds like Late Medieval or Early Renaissance. At least 500 years old. But it rocks. 🙂 ---

“Heatwave” by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas will raise the dead and set them to dancing. So will the Kinks’ “Victoria,” especially the live version. How about the incredible “Mas Que Nada” by, yes, really, Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66? The Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Do You Believe in Magic?” is sunniness personified. Happy songs from the 60s? Too many. No more time. Must go listen. ---
