So what happens to the moon after it’s orbital angular momentum = the earth’s rotational angular momentum? Will the orbit stabilize and the moon remain at that distance indefinitely?

How does this work in relation to the earth and the sun? Are we too moving away from the sun due to tidal acceleration?
