I appreciate that you think we’re all mad, but that sort of thing is complex and requires debate. I’m talking about things that are proven obviously wrong with a single cite, like his claiming that Romney will win 400+ electoral votes. You could plan to vote for Romney, you could argue in favor of his policies, but if you’re even the littlest bit connected to reality you should be able to go “Yeeah, dial it back some. That’s not going to happen.” Most people aren’t willing to call out their own political allies, no matter how crazy/dumb. I understand that. Most conservative posters here have been pretty silent in threads where **moonshot** is shitting himself. I’m just pointing out you’re the only asshole here who’s enough of a partisan troll to say that’s not feces but potpourri. You yourself have said you’re not here for rational debate, so own it. ---

Yeah, I’m also curious who, if anyone, claimed Romney was going to take 400+. Klaatu said “over 300”, which strikes me as wishful thinking, but over 400 is pure fantasy. Or, of course, deep-cover liberalism. ---

Okay, I read further and moonshot (in Klaatu’s thread) is indeed claiming Romney will top 400. I daresay that dissolves his credibility faster than sulfuric acid on jell-o. Of course, he _might_ be kidding, but I’ve little patience for people who tell a joke badly, and insist on telling it over and over. ---

On the other hand, there’s an entire topic on this board, being seriously discussed, regarding whether Romney should drop out of the race because it’s so blindingly obvious that Obama is going to crush him like a walnut in the fall election. This in an election that is separated by only 3-4 percentage points, with the debates and 60 days of campaigning still to come. Blind partisanship causes extreme interpretations regardless of which side it comes from. ---
