> Maybe not the Holocaust, but considering Bismarck’s machinisms in foreign policy, I doubt he would have had THAT much of a problem. Do you know anything at all about how the German Empire was formed? Mr. “Blood and Iron” himself?

But Bismarck had a plan. He wanted a united Germany controlled by a conservative Prussian government. And he wanted a few border territories of value. And that was enough. Once he achieved his goals, all he wanted was to keep everything as it was. Bismarck had no desire to conquer Europe.

You realise there’s a whole lot of centuries between Luther and the 3rd Reich, right? Does the word “pogrom” mean anything to you?

> You mean like all the Japanese soldiers who died in kamikaze attcks? I don’t see any self-interest there.

You mean the (mostly) teenagers/young men who were heavily indoctrinated (with daily beatings, religious propaganda, etc. And [puppies](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:72nd_Shinbu_1945_Kamikaze.jpg)) - gosh, fancy that, old, powerful men with a lot to lose managed to get young, impressionable men to do the dying for them. That’s _never_ happened before bushido:rolleyes: _Certainly_ wouldn’t happen in the 21st Century…:dubious:

One of the people who (literally) [wrote the book on Bushido](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamamoto_Tsunetomo)really [didn’t consider them very ideal](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forty-seven_Ronin#Criticism). And I agree.

[Here](http://www.koryu.com/library/kfriday2.html) - a little light read on the matter. Educate yourself a little.
