Last month, I was clicking through the ‘Gold Box’ section at Amazon just to see what useless junk they were pitching this time when I saw it: The Family Guy Box Set. Within 5 minutes I had ordered it and pre-ordered volume 2. And they should be arriving next week! ---

My favorite moment is the beginning of the episode that details Brian’s trip to LA, where they do a spoof of just about every TV cilffhanger ever. They get everything _perfect_ and it’s absolutely hillarious. ---

You know what’s a good quote- _Peter: Don’t worry guys, I have an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to understand what I was talking about._ I like to use the above all the time. And another one I use- \*Peter: Don’t worry guys, I read a book about this once. Brian: Are you sure it was a book, are you sure it wasn t nothing. Peter: Oh yeah, that was it.\* And here’s one that illustrates Family Guy’s wonderful randomness- \*Lois: Ohmigod Peter, Stewies’s covered in fleas. Peter: That’s nothin, when I was a kid I used to have ticks. Lois: It’s not a contest Peter! Peter: It was back then. \* And then you see the camera pan out to see a “Most Ticks” Award on his bedside, hilarious. ---

A little longer, but equally hilarious (they worked in the one thing the _Family Guy_ missed: pregnancy. Actually, they worked it in three times.) 😉 ---

My favorite moment was Peter’s speech at the end of the smoking episode: _I’ll tell you what’s not funny; killing strippers. Strippers are people too; naked people who may be willing to pleasure you for a price you negotiate later behind the curtain of the VIP room. Besides, there’s no need to kill 'em, cos most of them are already dead inside._ ---

More wonderful moments: * * * PETER Brian, there’s a message in my Alpha-Bits! It says, “ooooooooooooo!” BRIAN Peter, those are Cheerios. * * * If you are in ze Los Angeles area, und vould like to be in a studio audience of “Hitler!”, dial, two-vun-three, UNDZEIBENFLAUGENHAUPTMANNZWICKEN!!! * * * Stewie, after he gets the multiracial family’s children fighting amongst themselves: “Dance, you puppets! Dance!!” * * * Or when Peter remembers the time he ran over a cat. Segue, and you see a production of “Cats,” and suddenly Peter’s car crashes onto the stage and runs over one of the cast. ---

**Rickjay**! that Hitler quote is so funny, if you look online (wink wink) you can find the videoclip of that small segment! The German words, were an actual sentence, “Du Werdest Eine kranken schwester brauchen!” That means ‘You will need a nurse’ acording to babel fish translation. ---

The whole running joke about the evil monkey in Chris’s closet. And then it explains how the moneky wasnt always evil. Cut to suburban monkey coming home from a hard day’s work. “Honey, I got the Johnson(?) contract!” Monkey walks into room to find his wife humpin someone else. Aw man, I was _this_ close to pissing myself when I saw that ---
