What a shame. It just breaks my heart to think of the way people are picking on this poor man, just because he’s different, eccentric, and a batshit crazy child molesting circus freak. Sorry. Actually, I’m quite fond of circus freaks. It isn’t fair to compare him to honest, hard-working circus freaks. ---

Wasn’t Sony the creditor on the loan he took against the Beatles catalog, so that Sony, and not Paul McCartney, would get it in the event of a default? ---

Yeah, but Sony’s in a real financial crunch at the moment. The sales of most of their electronics aren’t that hot, the music division is getting the pants sued off of it because of how they screwed up, and the film division isn’t doing that well either, IIRC. So, if a wealthy English musician who happened to be a former member of the band dangled some money in front of Sony, they might just be willing to bite. After all, they could gain some positive publicity out of it, by selling it back to Paul (or Ringo or Yoko) so that the rights would be entrusted to someone who “has nothing but the deepest respect and understanding of the Beatles work.” ---

I seriously hope the bastard ends up eating out of garbage cans! He pisses away a $270 million loan he never had any intentions of repaying and now somebody comes to his rescue?!?! If I missed a payment on my $20,000 car they’d repossess it! Yeah, that’s real bleepin’ fair. Let the prick rot in an alley. ---
