Stress is the lowest grade o’ weed you can find (I’ve never heard the term “crippy”). Chronic is mid-range, and seems to be the “standard”. Kush is the high-end shit.

An eighth is 3.5 grams and usually goes for $40-$50 (if chronic). A ten dollar bag is usually half a gram.

Yep, late sixties - early seventies it was $10 an ounce whether good bad or mediocre.

Crikey, where do you live? Ounces probably go for $250, at best, in southern California. Probably closer to $300… and that’d be for the suppliers selling it to the dealers. Dealers probably charge closer to $400 per ounce.

Well, IIRC from my heavy weed days (about 7 years ago), we (i.e. the 90’s neo-hippy Grateful dead/Phish scene) generally differentiated between shwag (the lowest quality) and kind (the highest, which included kush, and a whole bunch of other names I can’t quite remember. I think many assumed these subnames were official species classifications, and perhaps many of them are; sativa or indica comes to mind). Never heard of stress, but I guess it’s the same as shwag.

Schwag was typically $15 - $20/an eighth; and generally $100 - $130/an oz.
Kind was 40 - 70/ an eighth and 325 - 400/an oz.
