Last night my husband and I went to a bar and he did his favorite thing to do at a bar. Surprisingly it isn’t drinking but playing the jukebox. He one of the songs he played was Wing’s **Jet**. I found out a few things about this song last night. The first: The name of the song is “Jet” and not “Yeah” said with a heavy Spanish accent. The second: Paul McCartney does not shout “Suffering Cats! Yeah!” during the chorus. My favorite misheard lyric is from my daughter, which I’ve posted before but still think is hilarious. She was watching a re-run of The Wonder Years and was singing the theme. _Watch what you do With that stank attitude. Don’t you stand up And walk out on me._ Yeah, that one never gets tired. ---

Most of the time I’m too lazy to look up the correct words, and am content to go through life singing my own versions, until someone sets me straight. Favorites of mine include: _You got a flintstone microwave oven, custom kitchen, delivery_ from Dire Straits. I do now know this one is actually “gotta install.” _Lipstick, everybody in the whole wide world, down on me_ by Big Brother and The Holding Company _It gives me staple for a dice, in cars_ by Gary Numan Sir Rhosis ---
