Good lord, not only are they being stolen, they’re being stolen by idiots who are probably damaging them. When I read that the ‘Madonna’ had probably been rolled up I cried.

You know how there are so many movies that begin with famous peices of art being stolen from all over the world, and then it turns out that they’re not being stolen just for art’s sake, there’s some secret message hidden in them, or something?
Some mysterious person, somewhere, building a Munch-powered deathray. Mark my words.
