Spark240, I saw something curious in that poll you quoted. It claims that 52% of Egyptians disfavor Muslim Brotherhood to some degree. But there are 33% claiming they don’t know how they feel. Which to me is bullshit, because everyone knows what they think. I believe they are simply obeying their religious mandate to lie. So that gives us 48% who endorse the Muslim Brotherhood. Again, as usual, about half. But we must also factor in the percentage who claim to be unfavorable towards Muslim Brotherhood but who are in fact engaging in their religious mandate to lie. That pushes the average right to where we typically see it…more than half. Again, look at what gets elected every time Muslims are allowed to vote - Hamas, Hezbollah, Amadmanjihad. There are no decent Muslim countries. Here’s a challenge to anyone brave enough to pick up the gauntlet: Name one decent Islamic country where freedom, tolerance, and equality are the rule. Ah, ah! Careful now all you liberals, Muslim apologists, and dhimmis. That’s a trap! There is no such country, although I already know which ones you’re going to name, because your kind always names the same poor choices and I shoot them all down. But hey, go for it! 😉 ---

They’re all going to their silly Islamic heaven of boozing and whoring. Of course, I don’t believe this would ever happen, I’m just being idealistic. It would be great if that would happen. ---

Well, he’s only showed up just today, and his only posts so far are are frothing, rabid anti-Islamic bullshit, so obviously he’s a long-time reader of the Straight Dope who finally decided to take the plunge and soak up the collegial atmosphere of the boards. 😉 Actually, I imagine he’s aquainted with **AshenLady** in some way, and my guess is he hangs out on StormFront or a similar board. ---

Here are the state religion Muslim countries: Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Sudan, Somalia, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates. Any one. Just name one that enjoys peace, freedom, and tolerance. I can’t wait. Been there, done that. Already know which ones you’ll pick. But hell, give it a shot anyway! If you have both the balls and the brains. Of course, we know you don’t have the brains if you do try. Anyway, from where do get the notion that I have, at any point, argued that tolerance, peace and freedom are the norm in any particular ‘Islamic’ (presumably you mean majority muslim) country? Hell, it’s not the norm in lots of countries. I have no particular interest in trying to change your idiotic worldview. I just find your frothing entertaining, in an admittedly sick way.
