Well, I posted a coupla most embarrassing moments to Zette’s thread on that topic, and then met a bunch of Dopers face to face. I was sitting there enjoying the company when suddenly I wondered if any of them were looking at me and trying to picture me in the exact embarrassing moments I related. Yipes. ---

I’m usually reading anywhere between 3 and 7 books at any given moment. I met my wife online. I drink WAY to much beer. I suck as a musician but still keep grinding away. I can’t go on, this is too depressing… (runs for the paxil bottle) ---

This one goes way back and is a little stupid, but… When my high school jounalism teacher sent us out to sell ads, I would sell one or two ads and then spend the rest of the afternoon driving around in the country in my Jeep. She never questioned my lack of ad sales–I guess this is because I was being sent to a small redneck town to sell these ads. ---

The only time I watched a soap was when Tony Dow (Wally Cleaver) was on GH in the mid-'70s. And that was because watching him act was akin to watching a train wreck. Bad even by soap standards. And I would get high and watch Match Game. But you needn’t remind me that you were in kindergarten when this was happening. ---

Let’s see here… - I love the show Beavis & Butthead. - I love South Park - I loved the Mortal Kombat movie (the first one…the second one really sucked.) - I like the movie Titanic and the song My Heart Will Go On. And I’m a guy. - (This one I am having trouble admitting even here for some reason) I used to be a loyal reader of the “Sonic the Hedgehog” comic book. Until around issue #45, when the whole company started going to hell. But that’s a whole other story. ---

How does your family like it here? From what little I know about the midwest, the weather must be quite different from what they were used to. Scotti ---

My summers are hotter, winters colder, storms stormier, winds windier. They like their weather. Mine annoys me, but this is where the jobs are. I also like seeing the horizon once in a while. All those trees get on my nerves. Would I move out there if I could? You bet! ---
