How has this not caused a major stir? Could it be that people are actually going to reasonably assume this [swastika](http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/07/18/hitler_san_diego/) was a unintended mistake? Surely this can be linked to Bush in some way. You have US military and nazi symbolism all rolled into one building. Is the whole tinfoil hat brigade on the far right? Are there no far out far left conspiracy theorists out there? ---

I was just looking at it and thinking, y’know, thats a good design for an apartment complex, with four nice courtyards and big L shaped wings…I’ll bet you might could find some buildings like that elsewhere. ---

Now, this, ladies and gents, has the makings of a classic thread. We’ve got a conspiracy theory and some political murmurs in the OP, then we’ve got “titfoil”, Hitler, and very, very bad puns. I, for one, think that it might be a secret military complex housing a 1920’s style death ray. ---

I wonder if “Bougainville” is part of the conspiracy. I don’t see any US Navy Exchange on Bougainville Rd in a casual Googling, just sites linking to the Register… Not sure what a South Pacific island has to do with Hitler or swastikas, maybe that’s REALLY where he went to hide? ---
