If the lawyers set up their own Patreon/GoFundMe, they’ll presumably see that cash. But the grifters will set up competing ones saying they are raising funds for the lawyers. That money the lawyers are less likely to see much of, after necessary expenses are subtracted.
Which is a hypothetical that has nothing to do with what I posted.

Some people were wondering how much these lawyers were being fined. A recent WaPo article says the combined total is almost $187,000. That’s split between two states (MI and PA: $11,000 each), Facebook ($50,000), Dominion ($62,930), and a nonprofit group ($62,930).
The article does not say how their appeal is going. It’s apparently still pending.
I thought that was the fees for the opposing counsel they have to pay. Pretty sure the actual fines are running into the millions.
