As far as “healthy” options go, there is some subjectivity and individualization and the food pyramid people were probably never that great. McD’s had things like salads and grilled chicken long before his stunt, and in moderation (like most things) a single hamburger or a Big Mac isn’t that terrible and things like Egg McMuffins are probably superior to most at-home breakfasts in the USA.

Unfortunately a lot of those things were killed by Covid when they shrunk their menu again. I really like their Cobb salad. With the light dressing it was relatively low calorie and healthy. I of course went the other option often and got the good dressing.

That sums up how I feel really well.

I never liked him and when it was revealed that he’d lied about so much and done such awful things I really despised him. But I also feel somewhat bad for him. Just a bit.

(When in the USA) I always supersized. Coke, fries. If they could make a quarter-pounder a half-pounder - do it.

That movie kept the UK McD’s from offering the SS option which is definitely why I need to add an ‘X’ to my shirt sizes. They stayed small - I did not.

Pre-pandemic, McDonalds had all-day breakfast, which I liked, as the Egg McMuffin is my favorite thing on the menu. But no longer.

What was accurate?

They still had them here the last time I checked, but I haven’t been to McD’s in many months. But I imagine that ordering an Egg McMuffin (or better, a Bacon’n’Egg McMuffin) in the middle of the afternoon might get you shunted to the side of the drive-through for longer than normal! But yes, an egg-whatever McMuffin with a cup of coffee is probably one of the healthier things on the menu. OTOH, I can easily make stuff like that at home.

The only time I eat McDonalds is when I’m on the road, far from home, so
“making stuff like that at home” isn’t an option.

They had just started all day breakfast here before the pandemic. Covid killed that and it hasn’t come back.
