# Mormons Outlawed Polygomy???

My copy of **Divergent Paths of the Restoration** is missing at the moment, but IIRC there have been over 200 different denominations based on Joseph Smith’s teachings since the Book of Mormon was published, so there are a huge variety of different names.

I know a few “Strangite Mormons” who belong to a very small denomination that calls itself “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.”
