What if you are only good for isolated brief moments scattered through your waking hours? (And I snore, so that probably knocks out the late night shift.) I’m probably at my best in the mornings. I just wish they didn’t come so darn early. ---

Morning person. I get up at 6:00, take an hour walk, get to work and do most of my work by 1:00. After lunch, I do very little and by 6 p.m. I can do little but make supper, watch TV and play music. I rarely stay up past 10 p.m. ---

Along with what seems the majority of Dopers, I am not a morning person. I can’t remember anything I’ve done at work between 9 and 1. Most of my best work at grad school, unfortunately, was done between 10 AM and 3 PM. Not compatible with a 9-to-5 job. ---

I’m a total night person. I work from 10am to 7pm, so I can stay up until 3am, get up at 9:30, and be functional. Most Saturdays and Sundays, I’m still up when the sun rises, and I’m just getting up around 3pm. In a previous life I was nocturnal, perhaps a bat. ---

I thought this thread was going to be about what time of day we like to have sex. Alas. I am an evening person, with my most productive hours between 7pm and 12 midnight. If left to my own devices, I’d probably sleep from 2am to 10am. If allowed to follow this schedule, I think I’d prefer to have sex around noon or 2pm. As for current ramifications, I work 9am to 6pm, which means that for a goodly portion of my workday I am hell on wheels. ---

100 percent morning person. Being a Morning DJ, that comes in handy. To bed by 8:30-9:00pm and up at 2:30-3:00am My work day is over at noon. I meet my kids for lunch, then a couple of hours on my own. Supper around 5-6pm and then beddy-bye usually before 9. Last night was a late one for me…some buds and me went to “The Cell” …in bed at 10:16pm…up at 4:30am. I hate being late.
