I have a little move I’ve been tinkering with, a variation on Shatner’s Bassoon, but borrowing some of the diagonal shunts and passes used in Mycroft’s Canundrum. I’ll start with Mill Hill East. ---

Alternats shifts? Have you gone mad? Mill Hill East, under the Earl of Plimmingtons Almanac alternates (which I believe are declared automatically in round two if the first round isn’t won using the Shunt of St. Swithins), allows for the application of a Topwise shunt, which is what I was attempting with my opening move, but, I concede, would be more obvious to the seasoned player with my second move of \*\*Hatton Cross]/b]. ---
