Another one here who is mostly in favour of cops but doesn’t believe them all to be saints. I think the OP has a lot of issues with the police which is very probably reflected in his attitude to them when he encounters them and not surprisingly he gets the unhelpful response he secretly wants so that he can justify his prejudice against them. I have had an aggressive response from L.A.P.D.(On seperate occassions) and Orange County sherrifs dept. when encountered in rough areas while dressed lowlife. Their attitude changed almost immediatly when I responded politely and helpfully to their questions,though I expect my accent helped. I cant blame anyone in a high risk job who encounters arseholes daily being a little less then mister nice guy at times particulary when they meet a lary git.
