> Wan’t there a song Telstar in the 50’s with lots of code chatter?

_Telstar_ by The Tornadoes went to #1 on the Billboard singles chart in November 1962. Basically surf music with an electric organ playing lead. It opens and closes with humming, throbbing, and white noises, but nothing that sounds like code.
