# Morton's Neuroma Surgery: Your Experiences

I’m having my [Morton’s neuroma](http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/fact/thr_report.cfm?Thread_ID=233&topcategory) removed in three weeks, as it has become quite painful and is getting harder to live with. Have any Dopers out there had this surgery? Did you have a fairly short recovery time? I sit on my butt all day, so I’m planning on being out of work for only 4 days. (Three of them for recovery, one for the surgery.) Anyone have the bugger come back or any other bad experiences? I’m a planner, so I want to be prepared for what to expect.
