Maybe “tantrum” would be a better word than “riot”. (Although pushing and shoving and harassing employees who weren’t at fault is bad enough) ---

McD seems to have used artificial scarcity to drive up interest and didn’t realize the fans would act out in reaction to feeling like they’d been tRicked. ---
