“Do mosquitoes prefer certain blood types?”

> **[Do mosquitoes prefer certain blood types? Plus: Do tall men get more skin...](https://www.straightdope.com/21343988/do-mosquitoes-prefer-certain-blood-types-plus-do-tall-men-get-more-skin-cancer)**

I was curious, my type is A-, but mosquitoes seem to love me!

The article says type A people tend to get bit less than type O though…did I miss it, or were the rhesus factors included in the studies?

I know that my type is one of the rare ones (not the A part, the RH negative part) and thought that perhaps the skeeters (hehe) find it to be a treat of sorts. Now that I’ve read the article though, I see they may be attracted to saccharides and I’ve been known to have a bit of a sweet tooth, so maybe it’s my diet and I should have more coffee with my sugar in the future 🙂

I just realized the article is rather old - sorry if this has been posted before. :\
