I read a book by Bill Buford. It was titled _Among the thugs_ and was about British soccer hooligans in the 70s. **Ro0sh’s** description was correct. Somewhere in the book two guys are fighting, one sucks out the others eye, then bites down on the retina/optic nerve, whatever, and spits it out. ---
