Hmmm… Well, I still reserve the right to be indignant and correct people whenever they say it their way. I shall also stomp my feet and wave my fist about, carelessly. That seems appropriate. 😛

Thanks **Shayna**!

I was reading this thread bummed out because I knew the mis-quoted line but didn’t know the actual one.

Thanks!

The line, as I once copied it as my sig from the video, is

> [@](#):

> Life is pain, highness! Anyone who says differently is selling something.

Now, it’s possible I’m mis-quoting, but I paused the tape to write it down so I think it unlikely.

I believe the line “Come with me to the Casbah!” (spoken in a thick french accent by an oily male lead) was attributed to Charles Boyer’s character in the movie “Algiers”, but in reality he never spoke this line in this, or any other movie. Still, it was frequently used by impressionists and cartoon characters as a way of imitating Boyer’s suave french lover characters.

I always thought it was Pepe le Pew that said that.

Can someone tell me where the “All your \_\_\_\_\_\_\_ are
belong to us” line comes from? Everyone seems to know and use this but me.
Please?

This line is from a Sega Genesis game called Zero Wing. Also from the same game: “You have no chance to survive make your time”
“Move zig. For great justice.”
“Somebody set up us the bomb”
