I’d like to mention _Homicide: Life on the Streets_. The beauty of young Kyle Secor & the hotness of Andre Braugher ruined the curve & kicked up the average hotness level. But, at the beginning, the rest of the cast was hardly pinup material. Richard Belzer? Ned Beatty? Yaphet Kotto?\* Melissa Leo had a natural beauty but certainly didn’t flaunt it. I’ll admit that Sheen _does_ have a certain something about him, but his face is still pretty damn normal to me. But then again I’m a fan of Kate Hudson and other such celebrites that people call Cookie Cutter Celebs. 😛 ---

I’ve been watching this Australian soap opera from the 70s-80s about a woman’s prison called Prisoner:Cell Block H. I love the show but it has completely destroyed any fantasy I ever had about a women’s prison. ---

How about The Shield? Not the prettiest main cast ever seen and definitely the ugliest guest stars I’ve ever seen. Vic Mackey: Bald and has a beer gut Shane Vendrell: Ugly, buck toothed and racist to boot Curtis Lemansky: Ok, Lem isn’t so bad Ronnie Gardocki: Would be handsome if not for the imprint of a stove burner on his face David Aceveda: Otherwise handsome man except he looks like he shaves with buckshot Claudette Wyms: Sacrificed looks for coolness. I love Claudette but she’s ugly as hell Danny Sofer: not bad but definitely not a Hollywood beauty Julien Lowe: handsome Dutch Wagenbach: nerdy appeal I suppose. But not leading man looks, that’s for sure Corrine Mackey: cast in an act of nepotism, not for looks Tina Hanlon: added in the fifth season to be eye candy.
