An interesting choice but it is true to say that had we not retrieved those 300,000+ men then Churchill would’ve been under immense pressure to strike a deal with Adolf. As it was, it is gave us the gumption to prosecute the Battle of Britain.

It is certainly an important, pivotal and decisive Naval encounter, but whether it was a naval Battle is up for argument.

True, I just wanted to make sure that folks realized that there was naval fighting going on, not just troops pulled off the coast under gunfire.
