I can think of a few off the top of my head - celebrities despised by many, but still seem to get work and live the life of a celebrity. Granted, some of their money might be from before they became, uh, less-loved, but still - they seem to carry on quite well. Mel Gibson? Pauly Shore? Lindsay Lohan? ---

Well, all those people are “despised” for very different reasons. They also have varying degrees of “career.” Both these factors will be equally varied for anyone else named. ---

Who’s that pissant that used to be on 2 1/2 men? Like **Gato** and **TruCelt** mentioned, Chris Brown. Alec Baldwin isn’t the leader but neither is he w/o substantial votes. Andy Kaufman certainly fell out of grace. Lots of women despise Arnold for his cheating and general womanizing. ETA: Ooop, still has a career. Skip Andy. ---
