In _Chinatown_: Just by chance, I saw this specific scene today, and it is still disturbing: _Jake Gittes_ Who is she? I’m fucking freezing.” Gothe \*\*Schindler’s list \*\* This line is said as he drives through the Ghetto and is asked if he had any questions after it is explained how the ghetto is divided between the “useful and useless” Jews. This was to signify the start of the next phase of final solution, the liquidation of the ghettos. He brushes off the magnitude of the moment and its true horrific meaning with a trivial complaint about the fact his car’s roof is down. So cold blooded. For six centuries there has been a Jewish Krakow. By this evening those six centuries will be a rumor. They never happened. Today is history. Gothe \*\*Schindler’s list \*\* And could someone please translate what is said by the SS officer as he is shooting into the pile of burning corpses in Shindler’s List?
