Or the Mother’s Son, Wizard of Gore. Makes your head spin.
Yeah…I read a summary of the later stuff, and there was such silly bullshit that I thought it was bad fanfic. Oh, so everyone is desperate for the paladins of Takhisis to save them? Oh, okay. Sure, perfect sense.
Still, which character are you referring to getting crushed?

Tasslehoff. He gets stomped on at the end, yet right before, uses a very intricate and complex magic artifact to travel to the future. And the epilogue of the damn book has Tass meeting up with Flint and Tanis in the afterlife, meaning he DID die!
Ah, interesting. Well, I’m pretty confident that the entire world could be destroyed and Tas and Bupu would still be floating there, safe and happy.

Even among twins, one is an older sibling, even if by a few minutes time.
the Stepford Wives (remake). All throughout the movie, it is clearly established that the ‘Stepford wives’ are robotic duplicates of the original women, who were then disposed of:
-At a hoe-down, one of them short-circuits and begins spinning at superhuman speed. She collapses, repeating the words ‘docey do’ in a robotic manner, until someone pulls a plug on her.
-Nicole, Bette & their gay pal discover a remote control. It causes a Stepford Wives’ breasts to inflate.
-A Stepford Wife spits cash out of her mouth a la a cash machine.
-Bette Midler is replaced by a doppleganger that can withstand accidentally sticking her hand onto a gas-burning stovetop flame.
But in the big finale, Nicole Kidman discovers that the Stepford Wives have only been brainwashed! They weren’t disposed of after all! So apparently it is perfectly normal for women to doce do at superhuman speed, or have literally inflatable breasts, or to spit out cash, or resist flames. Right.
Her Alibi. Tom Selleck’s house gets blown up by the bad guys in an attempt to kill Paulina Poritzkova. Towards the end of the movie he winds up eluding the bad guys, saving Paulina, and ultimately marrying her. The final shot shows him carrying her through the threshold of his house. The house that was blown up earlier.
